Message: “While driving a truck (I have been driving for over 20 years) in the middle of summer in the middle of the day, on a four-lane U.S. highway in Central Minnesota, I saw a cryptid. I don't believe in them, but I saw one. I saw this within 100 feet and got a very good look at it. Now, I consider myself the world's greatest skeptic, as I only believe in things that I personally experience. Of course, you go through the gamut of why a cryptid couldn't exist e.g. not enough of them to keep the species going, people have been living in the area for 150 years and YOU are the first person to see such a thing (you get the idea). Next, I want to say that this was NOT a piece of garbage or construction material blowing in the wind. This thing moved with purpose. However, what I saw can't exist. I saw this "animal"? or machine? I don't really know.
It came from the ditch from the Northside of the road, crossed two lanes (plus two asphalt shoulders), and went into the median of the road between the 4 lanes, and this median was full of taller weeds and grasses. Here is what I saw exactly, without any embellishments. It was long and skinny, (about 4 feet long) and had a diameter of about 3 1/2 inches. It was cylindrical. It was covered in short brown fur. The "head" of this thing was an indented cone. If you've seen water coolers in places and they have those little paper cone-shaped cups that you use one time and throw away, that was the head of this thing (but bigger than a paper cone cup). The cone was situated so that the point of the cone was on the inside and the wide opening would be where the "mouth" would be on a normal animal. The whole inside of the mouth was covered in the same short brown fur. It reminded me of a giant millipede; however, millipedes have many, many legs. This had NO legs, at least none that I could see. I simply saw air under its body. It moved about the speed of a field mouse at full tilt.
Anyone reading this would think that it was just something blowing in the wind. I get that. I wanted that to be the case too, very bad actually. But, it wasn't. This moved with perfect forward momentum, not rolling or undulating even a little. It moved with purpose like it wanted to cross this road without being seen and disappeared into the grass in the median. Yes, I do realize that this sounds crazy. I saw a giant 4-foot long brown fur-covered millipede-looking creature with a fur-lined cone for a mouth, no tail, hovering and traversing a couple of inches off of the ground with no discernible legs. I think about this often. It looked more "machine" than an animal. It was like someone that was very clever built this and tried to make it look like an animal, but the animal didn't exist. Was it some "universal" alien probe? Was it from another dimension? I surely don't know, but I know what I saw was 100% real and not just something blowing with the wind. I do wish I had some answers. Thanks for reading.”
