User Submitted Cryptid Sighting: Large, unknown winged creature

Name: Erian. Last name kept private at the request of the witness.

Age: 17

Number of witnesses: 1

Location of Sighting: Mosinee, WI

Date of sighting: 6/20/22

What you believe the creature was: “Mothman” or a similar cryptid.

Message: “The creature flew between the trees of the woods, its wings far larger than a vulture’s or eagle’s wingspan. It was hard to make out the details of the creature against the setting sun. When it landed on a tree branch in the middle of one of the pine trees, it’s body was nearly twice that of the tree trunk, and knees that looked bent slightly while its claws gripped tightly to the branch. Eyes were a deep, bright red from what I could see. It took off through the trees and disappeared moments later, leaving nothing but white claw marks etched in the branch where had been.”
