“FOUND TWO SKELETONS.”

It May Result in Clearing Up a Mystery at Oconomowoc.

OCONOMOWOC, Wis., Sept. 23. - The finding of two skeletons on the Schuschardt place, near Pine Lake, promises to develop into a sensation. While some laborers were digging a cellar they came across the skeletons, one of a woman and the other a child. The bodies, which were in an iron casket, were found beneath a dwelling, built in the early 50s. A tradition exists in that vicinity of the unexplained disappearance of a woman and child about forty years ago. There are many persons in this vicinity who are of the opinion that a murder was committed at that place and they claim that the identity of the guilty party or parties may be established by investigating the history of the old dwelling. Several names have been mentioned in connection with the case, but no open charges have ever been made against anyone. It is said that a bullet hole was found in the skull of the woman, which supports the theory of murder. The authorities have decided to investigate the case. In case the investigation is carried to any extent there is a probability that some startling disclosures will result.
